Reunited and it Feels so Good!

Shalom Chevre! (from your friend Emily Blumenthal):

Excitement’s building about our plans to get together over Memorial Day weekend in NYC. Don’t miss out; we want to see you! If you haven’t already, visit the Reunion Website Mimi Gaber put together (thanks Mimi!) to sign up and see who’s already committed to be at the reunion, and/or at least catch up on your long, lost friends at (or maybe even find true love after all these years - that’s right, we have at least one Year Course reunion couple heading to the chuppah).

We’ll be having a first class party on, Saturday night, May 24th, with great food, drinks, live music, and wonderful company at the hip, cool, funky Loft 11 space. Then Sunday, we’ll be chilling in Central Park if the weather shines for us.

And no more Beit Riklis accommodations for this crowd. For out-of-towners we’ve got a deal on loverly NYC hotel rooms at the
centrally located, Tudor Hotel at the United Nations, 304 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10017, p: 212.986.8800. We’ll have a hospitality suite there too. Book a room by April 25 to guarantee a discounted group rate.

Also, take a look at our Google Group that Gabe Most established (thanks Gabe!).

At a minimum, give us an update on you! Even if you can’t join us over Memorial Day weekend in NYC, please complete a Reunion Bio Template, and send it our way or to reuben.kantor@comcast.net who’s compiling our yearbook. Also, please send any great recent and Year Course photos to ycphoto8788@aol.com so you can join us in spirit. Sure, we told you the deadline was March 1, but we’re on Judaean time, so get it in as soon as possible (no later than May 1 - remember - this is all volunteer time). Check out our Year Course Memories page for more details of what’s being planned, and how to send it.

And despite our extensive investigative skills, we’re still trying to track down some folks. Please let us know if you have contact information for these people (some are from the other side of the pond) so we can invite them to join us.

We are on the lookout for:
Jeff Dillon, Dalit Dishon, Daphna Doron, Julia Feldman, Abigail Fields, Deborah Gewirtz, Joel Gilbert, Doron Golan, Karen Goldman, Michael Goldstein, Daniel Goldstone, Steven Groden, Benjamin Isaacs, Rebecca Kaplan, Ann Kaye, Frank Kirschbaum, Craig Kolman, Laurie Marco, Talia Margalit, Kenny Markowitz, Rebecca Passman, Elissa Purcell, Rebecca Rosen, David Schwartz, Liisa Shapiro, Daphna Sherbow, Darryl Stern, Liselle Terret

Planning Update

Recently you all have been contacted (or will be) by various members of the Planning Committee. Please take a moment to let them or Mimi [mimi.gaber@gmail.com] know whether you will or will not be able to make it to the Reunion. We are heading into the home stretch here and will need to know numbers and have ticket purchase commitments very soon. If we don’t have a certain number of committed attendees in the next few weeks, we may have to cancel the event so buy your tickets and encourage your friends to buy theirs as well. In the meanwhile, if you want to see other Young Judaea friends that night (or just attend this part of the evening yourself), please feel free to invite them to the “After-Party” via the Evite.

We are also missing the following individuals (some are from FZY or are Madrichim) so if you know anything about them, please let us know:
